WELCOMES YOU
LOVE WHAT YOU DO & DO WHAT YOU LOVE
STEF GEORGE
IT'S ALL ABOUT A COLORFUL LIVING
Hello and welcome here. I'm Stef George, a French artist living in Dubai since 2001.
This site is all about my love for Colors, Art, Food, Healthy living, Well-being and Spirituality.
These are the topics I will be sharing with you.
I hope you'll enjoy spending some time with me!
MY PAINTINGS & ART IN GENERAL
Of Course, I will display my paintings and will keep you updated on my new artworks.
I will also discuss Art in general and share my interests with you. That might be a highlight on artists I am interested in or reminder of what is happening and trending in Dubai and/or elsewhere.
DECORATION & INTERIOR DESIGN
Being in a cosy and homey environment is very important for me. This is why I love decoration & interior design. Finding the perfect piece of furniture that will match the layout of your house, creating an atmosphere in which you will truly feel at Home, playing with colors and textures; that’s what I love to do and that’s what I am good at!
I am creative and like to save on costs of furniture. Since we are in Dubai, carpenter, upholsters and painters are affordable. This is why I like to design furniture and have them custom made. It is far cheaper than what you would find in a store and your home will not look like any other house.
I can help you with your home.
FOOD - HEALTH & WELLBEING
YOU ARE WHAT YOU EAT
I have always loved eating. I am French and raised by a father who thought me the importance of fine dining. Today with the increasing focus on healthy food, cooking became an art. Same as with paint, you need to assemble different ingredients in order to create beauty in your plate. Beauty in the taste, Beauty in the eye...that you will then nourish your body and spirit.
I will share on my blog recipes and food for thoughts.
HAVE A LOOK AT MY ARTWORK
Color, texture and harmony are essential to my life and to my work.
My paintings are not only artistic but decorative as well. Art should open-up your senses and make you think or question yourself.
The canvas I use are generally big formats. I work with acrylic but I generally end-up using mixed media. In addition to acrylic, I will use varnish, pigments, spices, paper, wood or whatever comes with the inspiration.
